Marketing 5.0: The Technology Consumer Journey
In today’s era, technology has not only transformed the way we live and work, but it has also redefined the relationship between businesses and consumers. In this context, Marketing 5.0 emerges, an evolution that goes beyond the simple promotion of products and services, and focuses on building meaningful connections with the audience through technology. Digitalization: Beyond Borders Digitalization has broken down geographical barriers, allowing companies to reach global audiences in a way that was previously unthinkable. From small businesses to multinationals, they all have the opportunity to expand their reach and connect with consumers anywhere in the world. This democratization of market access has great potential for business growth. However, this global access also brings with it challenges. Protecting data privacy and security has become a critical concern for businesses and consumers alike. The growing digital divide between those who have access to technology and those who do not is also an issue that needs to be addressed to ensure equitable inclusion in the digital economy. Generational Gaps: A Challenge for Marketing 5.0 One of the distinguishing features of Marketing 5.0 is its ability to close generational gaps in technology adoption. While Millennials and Gen Z are fully immersed in the digital world, older generations may face difficulties adapting to new technologies. To address this disparity, businesses need to take an inclusive approach in their marketing strategy. This involves not only creating products and services that are accessible to all ages, but also implementing digital education programs for those who may need additional support in adopting new technologies. The 5 A’s and Building Lasting Relationships The 5 Aces of Marketing 5.0 (Aware, Appeal, Ask, Act, Advocate) describe the consumer’s journey from discovering a brand to becoming its most loyal advocate. These stages not only represent customer touchpoints, but also opportunities to build meaningful and lasting relationships. By understanding and optimizing each of these stages, companies can build strong and meaningful relationships with their customers, fostering long-term loyalty and engagement. The Future of Marketing 5.0 With the advancement of technology and evolving consumer expectations, businesses must be prepared to adapt and make the most of the opportunities offered by this new paradigm. The integration of artificial intelligence, augmented and virtual reality will continue to transform the way businesses connect with their customers. Those that take a human-centric approach and are committed to delivering personalized, meaningful experiences will be better positioned to succeed in the era of Marketing 5.0. In short, companies have to commit to leading this change, using the tools and strategies of Marketing 5.0 to build lasting relationships based on trust and transparency.

Digital Fortress: Contact Center Security
Nowadays, information security has become a topic of utmost importance for all organizations, and since Contact Centers are an important part of the visible face of organizations, the security aspect acquires a special relevance for the sector. It is important to start from the basis that when we talk about security we must consider several different aspects that cover the entire security risk: Information Security Nowadays, the most critical asset of any organization and therefore, must be the focus of protection initiatives in order to ensure its confidentiality, integrity, availability, authenticity and traceability. Security of personal information A subset of the above but that due to its implications must have a specific treatment, given that the materialization of a risk can cause serious harm to people and therefore, the protection of that information must be a maxim for organizations. Operation security Organizations must ensure that the operations on the assets that support the services we offer to our clients must be ensured to avoid having operational stoppages that directly impact our businesses. For this reason, we are going to delve into the implications that security has on Contact Centers, exposing some of the most significant challenges they face in terms of cybersecurity and information protection. Offering helpful recommendations for establishing a strong safety culture within any organization. Why is information security crucial for contact centers? Security goes beyond complying with regulations and standards; It is a fundamental pillar in the construction and preservation of the reputation of the business. At MADISON we consider the field of security as an essential requirement to meet the needs of our customers as a sign of our commitment to guarantee information security. Information security is crucial for contact centers for several reasons: Customer Protection Contact Centers are often the point of contact for organizations and therefore, we handle a lot of personal information of their customers, information that is very sensitive and for which we have the legal and ethical responsibility to protect. Security breaches can expose this valuable information to cybercriminals, who could misuse it to commit fraud or identity theft. Business reputation Poor data management can seriously damage the reputation of a Contact Center, but by extension and more worrying if possible, we are talking about the reputation of our customers. Customers who have had their personal information compromised may lose trust in the company, which can lead to customer loss and significant damage to brand image. Service Protection As we have previously mentioned, on many occasions the Contact Center is the point of contact between customers and brands, so it is vital to protect the operation of the service so that there is a high-performance availability, so that customers never lose that point of contact with the brand that provides them with some type of service. To address these challenges, we recommend: Safety culture Fostering a culture of security within the contact center is essential to effectively protect information. Creating an organizational ecosystem in which all components of the organization always have security as a key element of their activity is something very complex and requires detailed plans that include regular training for all employees on the best security practices, implement clear policies and procedures, establish awareness programs that maintain that tension about security and at the same time serve to update information on security threats that are continuously evolving. An environment must be created where employees feel comfortable and safe to report any suspicious activity, in addition to doing so in a simple and fast way, focused on the recipient being able to act immediately in the evaluation and reaction to any threat. Implement an information security management system An ISMS is a framework of policies and procedures that includes all the physical and technical security controls involved in managing an organization’s information. The assumption and implementation of standards such as ISO 27001 and the adoption of the National Security Scheme as a framework to ensure that validated mechanisms are applied to secure activity and information, are key actions to face threats in a better position. Of course, without losing sight of the obligation to comply with the guidelines set by the Royal Decree on Data Protection (GDPR), which, as we have already transferred, have a high criticality for users and therefore for the organizations that offer them services. Use cutting-edge technologies for data protection Security solutions such as firewalls, antivirus, intrusion detection software, and data encryption systems are essential to protect sensitive information. Nowadays, it may seem that it is almost a standard, but we must not forget that these systems have to be maintained and supervised continuously due to the constant evolution, both in the volume and in the sophistication of the attacks and for this, it is necessary to have the appropriate profiles or collaborators to maintain this management actively. Conduct security audits regularly Security audits can help identify and remediate vulnerabilities before they are exploited by cybercriminals and are always a valuable opportunity for improvement to improve and strengthen our security policies and mechanisms. The importance of the user station It is always said that the end user is the weakest link in the security chain, therefore, and because of the volume of users we have in Contact Centers offering services to our customers and handling their information, we must place special emphasis on the Secure of the workplace, which will be the best complement to the security culture we have talked about so that the link becomes the cornerstone of the safety of our and our customers. At MADISON, we employ the latest technologies available to protect customer data effectively. We are committed to protecting your customers’ information with the utmost care. MADISON: your ally to facilitate the relationship with your customers under the premise of security.
Discover some effective learning methods to boost your knowledge
In order to carry out effective learning, you must deeply understand the concepts and be able to apply them in different situations. There are many different methods that allow us to acquire new knowledge and skills, as well as maximize the understanding and retention of the information we want to learn. Some of them are: Learning by doing Whether through projects, experiments, simulations, problem-solving activities, etc., with this learning approach, based on active participation, “learning by doing” occurs. Thus, by involving all the senses in the “doing”, a deep understanding is fostered and the practical application of the concepts is promoted. Learning from different sources Searching for different sources of information on any topic enriches understanding and provides a broader perspective. This includes reading books, blogs, academic articles, conferences, participating in debates and discussions, listening to podcasts or social media posts, etc. By integrating different viewpoints and approaches, we can develop a more complete and deeper understanding of the topic, composing different perspectives. Teaching others It is a very effective way to consolidate knowledge, since, by presenting a topic to another person, we not only reinforce our knowledge, but we can also identify gaps that we need to address. Also with the transmission of knowledge to other people, we promote our communication skills, the ability to express ideas, to summarize, conciseness and clarity in language, etc. Study in intervals Sometimes trying to understand or memorize significant amounts of information is difficult to do all at once. However, taking time to learn in intervals is a good strategy for retaining information in the long term. It is based on the principle that regular review of information leads to better retention. Techniques such as flashcards or mind maps can be used for this, and you can also create flashcards online with different applications. Learning groups Getting regular feedback from peers, or people who can bring you experience and knowledge, means you can identify areas for improvement and adjust your learning approach. Look for opportunities to receive that feedback that will make it easier for you to continuously improve. Set learning objectives Defining specific, achievable goals provides you with clear direction and motivates you to move forward in your learning process. Break your goals down into small, manageable goals, and set an action plan to achieve them. By doing so, you will remain focused and committed to the goals you have set for yourself. Practice self-regulation Set schedules to dedicate to the task of learning and manage your time efficiently by establishing priorities. This will allow you to direct and control your learning process in an effective way; reorient it when you see that you need it, maintain a high level of motivation, and thus achieve your goals. At GESDECO by MADISON, we are committed to providing you with the tools and support you need to effectively apply these methods and successfully achieve your learning goals.
How to get started in wine culture. Thegetawine recommends.
Many people think that to enjoy the world of wine you have to be either an expert, an oenologist, sommelier or winemaker. The reality is different. Thegetawine by MADISON wants to break the myth that wine is not for everyone, for this, they have prepared a list with 5 tips aimed at all those who would like to know more about wine culture. Research and browse The Internet is an inexhaustible source of information about wines and wine regions. Research grape varieties, designations of origin, different countries or different wineries. The objective is to try to detect what type of wine we like. Curiosity is your best ally to start your introduction to wine! Incorporate wine into your meals Wine is an excellent gastronomic companion. Learn how to pair dishes and discover how they enhance each other’s flavors. The idea is to start with simple harmonies. From Thegetawine by MADISON they recommend a classic to start with the world of wine and pairing: young red wine with a semi-cured cheese, aged red wine with a very cured cheese and a white wine with soft cheeses. If you’re feeling like something different, try a crianza blanco wine with a strong cheese. Don’t be afraid to try When traveling, ask for local wines. Learn about other ways of production, other traditions that will make that grape that you like so much from a specific denomination taste totally different when it is made under a different climate or on a different soil. Tasting fuller-bodied wines may not have been on your radar, and by doing so you can discover, understand, and learn better about your wine tastes. Applications and tastings Download apps dedicated to wine. These apps will help you keep track of what you’ve tried, liked, and disliked. You can also share wines that you like at family gatherings by doing an informal tasting at home, learning to discover the particularities and differences of the wines. We recommend the Vivino app to keep track of the wines you have already tasted, scoring with notes, and thus close the fence on what your preferences are in wine. Vinumplay is also a good option, if in addition to tasting the wine you want to receive some notions about the winery and the tasting notes of each reference. Visit wineries and wine regions Wine tourism is a unique experience. Plan winery tours, tour vineyards, and immerse yourself in wine culture. Hearing first-hand from those who make the wines of the different wineries and regions is the most dynamic way to start your introduction to wine. In Spain we have an incredible wine heritage to discover, and its harvest festivals, sunset tastings, horseback riding, or themed events will make you become just another wine lover, with that little flame of curiosity that ignites for all of us when we start the adventure of learning about wine. The world of wine is very extensive and subjective. No one has the absolute truth, and not everyone is going to like wines equally. There will be those who are looking for fruitier and lighter wines from Rueda, and those who are looking for the more powerful wines from Toro. The important thing is that we keep this in mind, and that we enjoy wine in our own way. The best way to get started in the world of wine is to jump into the pool, and there’s no better way than to go to a winery and make a visit that includes a tasting. Finally, the last piece of advice given to us by Thegetawine by MADISON, is that whenever you drink a glass of wine, do it slowly, calmly and enjoy every sip. With family, friends, or as a couple. Wine is not a thirst-quenching drink, the world of wine is art, enjoyment, pleasure and wisdom. And shared always better.
Social networks: a fundamental platform in the global brand strategy
It’s no surprise that Digital Marketing has been with us much earlier than we think. From subscribing to a Newsletter and receiving the welcome email to creating our profile on TikTok because, coincidentally, we remember seeing an ad for this social network while browsing the Internet. All that is Digital Marketing. But does it stop there? This discipline goes further to the point where Social Networks have a very important role. Today, they are the most used communication channel between users and, of course, between brands. Its origin dates back to 1997, the year in which SixDegrees was created, considered the first social network in the world. Thus, numerous brands have discovered their potential, the ability they have to reach communities of users on a massive scale regardless of where or time zone you are. Currently, some companies such as Nike, Starbucks or Forever 21 have been able to position themselves on some platforms such as Instagram or TikTok to create a community of millions of users. But how did they do it? In some cases, the increase in the fame of certain brands is due to the fact that, after an assessment of their social media strategies, a marketing plan has been developed that has allowed them to go viral. In addition, it is important to bear in mind that we are in a society in which the immediacy of digital content is the order of the day. Therefore, the inclusion of current trends or hashtags in our content planning is essential to impact beyond our target audience, get out of the comfort zone and give a brand greater visibility in digital media. What is currently successful on social networks? According to We Are Social’s Global Digital Report 2024, 2024 is positioned as a year full of milestones in the digital field by exceeding 5 billion users on social media (equivalent to 62.3% of the world’s population); increase in the time the user spends online daily, setting it at more than 6 hours and 40 minutes; or the decline in television audience. With these milestones on the horizon, we ask ourselves: How to get our message across to the right audience, what are really the ingredients for content to go viral? First of all, we find authenticity and originality. These factors attract the attention of users for the simple fact of breaking with the discourse established up to this moment. Users want fresh, different content that makes them escape from the monotony of everyday life. On the other hand, who doesn’t remember an ad they were excited about? The feelings promoted through storytelling They are another factor that brands resort to to cross the screen of users and are the ones that, normally, make content be saved or shared through the different channels and, therefore, go viral. In third and last place is humor. Humour is that escape route from day-to-day problems. This is the reason why many users decide to open profiles like TikTok just to see how certain users share memes or show a day at work giving it a humorous touch. All these factors have led to numerous brands and/or users becoming known on social networks. Latest success stories on social networks You’ve probably heard of The Ordinary. It is a beauty product brand that has managed to become famous on social networks through user recommendations, considering itself a low-cost brand, with simple packaging but housing quality content. The fact that it is a brand perceived as such by consumers favors its dissemination through these platforms since, as mentioned before, they are a great tool for disseminating information. On the other hand, there is the famous case of Estrella Damm. Who hasn’t hummed the song “A ver qué pasa” by Rigoberta Bandini? Undoubtedly, this beer brand knew in 2021 how to correctly plan its branding strategy focused on storytelling. In this way, both the ad and the song went viral, thus allowing those photos or videos that included this melody to have a greater number of views, thus taking advantage of the impact of this campaign. One of the cases that has had the most impact on social networks has been the film La Sociedad de la Nieve by J.A Bayona. The cinematographic effect it has caused has gone beyond the screens to the point that individually there was a need to talk about this event and, therefore, to watch the film to be up to date and to be able to participate in conversations. On the other hand, such has been its virality that numerous podcasters have interviewed the survivors of Los Andes themselves to, in addition to offering their testimony, create quality content with which to capture the attention of the public. Finally, in a society where speed is the order of the day, it is important to know how to position yourself on social networks, join the trends of the world in order to differentiate yourself from the competition. At MADISON, we value success not only for the number of connections, but for the quality of the relationships we cultivate with our customers.

Training provides us with that path to achieve our goals. Training & Business Growth The importance of training for professional development is even more evident in highly competitive sectors and those undergoing rapid technological transformation. In these, the ability to adapt and continuously learn is crucial to be relevant in an increasingly competitive market. It is important to reflect, training is not limited to the traditional academic field. while earning degrees and certifications is valuable. You have to be open to new learning experiences, informal learning, participation in conferences, webinars, the opportunities offered by the online environment, mentoring programs, learning communities, play, life experiences… All of this adds value for good professional development. Would you like to know more about the functionalities of our Certified and Postal Electronic Communications and Notification Manager, known as the Communications Hub?
Contact Center Reporting & Management
In the digital age in which we find ourselves, artificial intelligence and all technological developments have radically transformed both the management of contact centers and the relationship between companies and their customers. The digitalization of customers also means that companies need to redefine customer service, as new communication channels and more agile and personalized responses are required.
From Customer Experience to Relevance
Customer experience (CX) has always been one of our greatest passions. In our CX projects, we don’t just map out a Customer Journey; we aspire to something much deeper: to bring our customers to RELEVANCE for theirs. We strive to help them grow as brands loved by their customers. But what does it really mean to manage Customer Experience to become a relevant company or brand? First, we need to properly manage customer experiences. Although there are many definitions of what constitutes customer experience, most highlight that it is the set of sensations and emotions that the customer perceives in the impacts and interactions throughout their life cycle with a company or brand. Beyond any definition, it is crucial to understand that Customer Experience is an emotion, something that is felt. And even if it’s an emotion, we can manage and measure it. For us, here are some of the most important CX factors : CX Involves Empathy Empathy is the starting point. If a company is not willing to understand and put itself in the customer’s shoes, it will never be able to connect with them. We must strive to get to know the customer, their preferences, their concerns, and their goals. In addition, it is crucial to humanize the experience, starting with humanizing the internal processes. While it is true that companies should seek to optimize resources, it should not be done at the expense of the ability to empathize with the customer. Although it is a reality that empathy depends largely on human intelligence, we increasingly see a role for artificial intelligence in humanizing experience. A technological revolution. CX is Trust We seek to convey a reliable image, so that the client perceives us as a brand that cares about their well-being. Trust is built by demonstrating to the customer our knowledge, perceived quality and consistency. We must get it right again and again. There is an equation that describes it very well: Trust is the sum of Credibility, Reliability and Intimacy, amplified by customer orientation. We highlight several characteristics of Trust: CX is Comfort We must offer maximum convenience at all stages and channels of customer interaction. The first step is to reduce complexity. This involves simplifying processes and using technology effectively. CX is Surprising Innovation in the customer experience is key to avoid boring them. We must surprise from time to time to keep the customer relationship alive, whether through personalized details or unexpected experiences. Surprising the customer in a very subtle way, for example, by celebrating their customer anniversary with us, or emphasizing an event that we know will impact the customer. These factors help us on our path to RELEVANCE, aspiring to become an important part of the customer’s life. Relevance is measurable, as shown by a study of relevant brands in Spain published by Forbes and carried out by the Pulsing Brands agency, which positions brands such as Nivea, Samsung and Netflix at the top of the ranking. It also shows the most relevant brands by sector. There we see brands such as Mercedes and ING, Mapfre and Decathlon as relevant leaders in their sector. We’re not surprised by these mentions, are we? Let us surprise you! In our next post, we’ll share how building a Customer Experience (CX) culture contributes to the creation of a Voice of the Customer (VOC) program.
