The tournament not only attracts top domestic talent, but also serves as a platform for players who are competing in the Olympics, such as Daniela Alvarez and Tania Moreno on the women’s team, and Adrian Gavira and Pablo Herrera on the men’s team. The consistent and quality organization of tournaments such as the Higuerón Resort Spanish Championship has been crucial in providing athletes with the competitive experience necessary to shine on the Olympic stage.
